We are four of the forty Christian churches based in Walthamstow, North-east London, UK.
We welcome people of all ages, races and backgrounds.
Each church is distinctive and we enjoy our differences.
Together we know a living faith in Jesus Christ, experience God’s truth through the Bible and believe that God’s love offers life and hope for our whole community.
We’re a local Church of England parish and part of the Diocese of Chelmsford.
The Parish of Walthamstow Magazine is published 10 times a year (monthly but with two month issues for December/January and August/September). The Editorial Team come from all four of our churches. Comment and copy are welcomed, although we cannot guarantee publication. If sending an image please send it as an attachment, for example as a jpg. (Images that are embedded within text lose definition as they have to be printed and scanned.)

I have contacted a friend who has just finished The Street Pastor’s course. It has just restarted (first week was last Saturday, 9 March) and takes place at St Matthew’s Church, Brixton. It is run by The Ascension Trust, telephone 020 7771 9770 for information. The cost is around £300. Thank you for your enquiry left on the Parish of Walthamstow magazine site. Information about births, marriages and deaths for the four churches in our parish can be supplied on application to the Parish Office and information in registers earlier than those currently in use is held by Vestry House Museum, Vestry Rd, E17. I am afraid that we cannot supply genealogical research information for the wider Walthamstow area. Fulbourne Rd is in the Parish of St John, Chingford Rd, Walthamstow and you need to contact them in the first instance for the information you seek.
